Starry, Starry Night!
Another fabulous night shooting the stars at Toadstool Hoodoos. Here we have a 2 hour exposure, showing the star trails over the hoodoos. The star in the center is the North Star - since the Earth's axis points N/S, the North Star remains stationary while all the other stars revolve (apparently) around that star, due to the earth's rotation about its axis.
